drednour
I have a DNCB400MC machine that is kept in an unheated shed. I am in Southern Illinois where temps can reach below 0*F. The shed will remain above 0* but still be well below freezing. Will this machine regulate temp to keep sodas from freezing? Or do I need to empty the machine out and unplug until spring when temps are above freezing in the shed? Thank you in advance and please let me know if additional information is needed. Vendo Mike
Heater kits are available for Vendo equipment so I would bet DN had an option as well. Ours doesn't kick in until it reaches 18 F outside. Between 18 F and 32 F we rely on the fans to keep the air circulating and prevent frozen drinks. If you don't have a heater kit, you'll definitely want to move the machine inside or empty it. Burst soda is a pita to clean up.
AZVendor
I would empty it. DN never had a supported heater that I recall though Royal might have. I think the Vendo one was made up pretty well and might work too.
