Royal Vendors 804/9 Dry vending, and Double Vending

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I am a first time vending machine owner and I am having some issues with my Royal 804/9. I switched from cans to bottles recently, as per request of the client, and I've been having issues ever since. I set the depth to one deep, I adjusted the product stop so it is the larger of the two, and I adjusted the spacers so that the drinks are held correctly. I also have the plastic pads to prevent bottle bridging.  The three images included are the three different bottle shapes that I am using to vend. I realized I was having issues when I started to test vend each column. Most of the columns have the same issues, but some are more frequent then others. Sometimes nothing would vend, other times one, two or even 3 items would vend out. I checked the drop sensor and it is working and functional. It seems as if the bottles are getting stuck as they are about to be dropped. If anyone knows anything about this please respond. If you need me to send pictures of What is going wrong I can do that too.

Thank you everyone who assists me!

For 16 oz bottles you should still use the narrow product stop setting.  The big setting is for 20 oz bottles.  Also, make sure none of your anti-tilt springs are missing or broken in the columns.

Also, should I use narrow for monster energy?

The shims are for the width of the product.  16 oz monster, 16.9 oz soft drinks, and 12 oz cans are usually the same product width so they use the same shims

No shims in the 804.  The can stop still needs to be used but the product depth will be set to one by column #, not by selection switch #.

Actually product depth in the g3s is set by selection switch number, not by column.  And use the narrow product stops for monsters, 12 ounce cans and 16 ounce bottles.

All of the items in my machine are one deep, I have everything set to one as well. But this is valuable information if I ever do have cans and drinks, thank you!

The 804 isn't a front and read column machine?  I can't remember.
