CraigERA
I have had this vending machine running for about 9 months no problem, but lately when I set the time it will not increment, the time will stay the same. Also when I go to set the date I cannot change it and some times it will just have 165 for all the values and I cannot change it. The time and date are important in that I need to block sales on particular days and times. Do I need to purchase a new board. I have never seen this where the clock time will not change. I also noticed the display kind of flickers probably about every minute, that I don't remember occurring before.
tblake05
Start by checking all connections and then verify 24v AC on the power input to the board. It may be slightly high if unplugged. Like maybe 27-28. does the board have a 2032 battery that can be replaced? Try that first. then I’d say need a new board unfortunately.
CraigERA
so it does have a 2032 battery on the board, but that battery does not want to come out and I'm afraid to snap the think off, my first thought was the battery, Is there a trick to taking it out seems like it should just pull/slide right. The timer does act odd still today I could change the date but not the time. It was displaying 201 for the hour and 255 for the minutes and I could not decrease or increase the hours. It's the oddest thing I have ever seen. Do you have any recommendations on where to purchase a replacement board for a Wittern-USI 3189
CraigERA
Here is a picture of the battery but for the life of me it seems fused to the metal clip, but I'll need to check the voltage, if it's high what would cause that as nothing has changed with the machine. tblake05
That battery is soldered directly to the board. Maybe just test it for 3v DC with a multi meter. what’s the voltage on the white/orange wire plug going into the board? I have a stock 3189 board…. But directly from inone is your best bet for that replacement board. have you reached out to forum member Ernie from inone? I forgot his username but try a quick search.
