New to site giving some ifo

Recommended Posts

This is my first time entering a post on this st I just started my vending company about a month ago and place my first machine a week later. I paid about $1200 for the machine and actually placed it by the pool at my apartment complex. It is doing about 80 dollars a week so far but I know it will slack off tremendously when fall kicks in. I have gotten some great info from this site thus far. I just wanted to post that I recently found out that Pepsi writes off their machines after they own them so long then refurb them and sale them. I just bought 3 six selection machines from them for 200 dollars each. They even swithched out the graphics and delivered them at no charge for me. Has anyone else heard about this.

You can put the 16.9 o/z bottle in can machine..

You can not buy 20 o/z anywhere but Pepsi/Coke Why would you want them???

Welcome, Imperialv.

I'm just getting started, too, and placed my first machine last week. I'm interested in the cheap machines like everyone else, but I'm also interested in your apartment complex placement. I've been trying to get into an apartment complex. $80 per week sounds pretty good. How many units are in your complex? You mentioned you paid $1200 for your machine. I take it that is a multi-price, right? I had mainly been thinking single price machines at pool areas, but I guess a multi-price would be warranted if people are going to use it. Is your machine indoors or outdoors? Is it just the one machine or do you have another there, too? I started a thread on this once, but not many people commented. Do you have anything else you can tell us about your apartment complex placement? Or what does anyone else think about putting soda machines at apartment pool areas?

Thanks,

Johnny Ringo

I actually asked a Pepsi driver about their machines thats how I found out about it, I have been working with this driver exclusively. I'm pretty sure he is tacking on some money for himself but it is worth it because he will deliver the machine anywhere I want and even repair if I had a problem. Yes the price included delivery.

The machine I have at my complex is multi price I run cans for .75 cents and I have powerade in one slot for 1.25. Its located outdoors. I really think complexes are only good for the summer and only if you can put a cheap machine by the pool, my machine will be paid off by the end of the summer plus Im sure I will make a little extra. I have already got the greenlight from two other complexes to place a machine by there pool. These 250 dollar machines are perfect and they are short machines that are easy to move around.

I started asking friends of mine who lived in complexes if they had vending machines those that lived in large unit complexes I called the property manager and asked if they would be intrested in installing a machine in their workout room or poolside. I really feel after the summer its going to be extremely slow so having a smaller inexpensive machine is key.Make your money and see you next summer at least thats my plan.  ;D
