AZVendor
First, spray some glass cleaner on the plastic brake pivots on the motor and work the brake a few times to work it in. Does the brake move freely now? You might need to replace the motor switch on that column. If the problem persists then change the motor as the brake is bad. rchmedic
hi I did all of those things. I took the motor from the #1 slot and put it in the # 2 slot the" bad "one. but it did the same thing the other one did. I replaced it back in its original spot. #1 and it works correctly put the # 2 back in the original place still just continuously vends from that slot. now I am not loading that slot just holding the lever in like a can would. when I release it it stops. I took the push button switch from above the motor that is operated by the lever the can sets against and replaced it with the one next to it on the # 1 slot. still does it. I bought a used motor and replaced it. and it still does it. so I am out of things to try. my other machines are flat tops so this one is new to me. AZVendor
Flat tops? You mean flat doors vs this one being a bubble front? That doesn't matter. You might have a wiring problem with motor 2. First, take the motor switch connectors off and reverse them as you might have them mixed up. If that doesn't work then make sure the wires inside the motor connectors are pushed all the way into the plastic and then when they are installed on the switches be sure that the side switch terminal is captured by the connector. If that still doesn't work then you need to look at the left side of the stack assembly where the wiring exits and look for a cut wire. Also look along the bottom of the stack where the wires move from right to left which is also where the motor cover might have cut a wire.
rchmedic
I marked the wires prior to removing them so they are in the same position. I checked to see if the connectors were tight and they are. I cleaned the connections with terminal cleaner. I don`t see any breaks or cuts the wires are nice and clean with no breaks that I could see. where could I get new Switches. AZVendor
It doesn't sound like you need switches since this motor works fine on column 1 as you said. Did you ever put motor 2 on column 1 and have it work there? If so then there's nothing wrong with the motor. If you need it the motor cluster switch is available here: https://stores.vendorstech.com/dixie-narco-motor-3-switch-cluster/ You'll notice the super high price because they are no longer produced. Used ones abound.
