vendmo
Hello, I had brought a vending machine off facebook market a "Nerly/Wake 3014a" and it only accepts $1 and no credit card reader. I was wondering how and what board is out there that i can upgrade it to to allow me to use a newer bill accepter and credit card machine and where can I possibly find it. I have purchase a ICT Bill acceptor 110v A6-15SCP-USD4 as well as a Used Crane Credit Card Telemetry Unit, w/Wireless & Card Reader.
orsd
You just bought a whole lot of junk with no good cohesive way to string it together. To upgrade this machine to take cards requires a Vendors Exchange or inOne UCB retrofit board, about 3-400 dollars. Plus an MDB bill acceptor and coin mechanism, preferably Mars or Coinco, not ICT. (Unfortunately the one you bought is 110v, not MDB). Another 3-400 dollars. Plus the card reader. An old USI 3014a is not worth the investment. I’d personally buy another machine that’s already card reader compatible. Also, either way, make sure you can actually use the card reader. Most require you call the company and transfer it to your name. May not always be possible.
AZVendor
It's just a USI 3014 and not worth a penny of upgrade money. Edited Friday at 05:05 AM by AZVendor
