Mike4 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I used to be able to order small PVC globes from A&A for about 8 bucks and change. They have been discontinued. Does anyone know where you can find these at a decent price? I can find them online but people are gouging with the prices. CP6-461-P CLEAR PVC GLOBE Small Plastic Northwestern Globes

CP6-461-P CLEAR PVC GLOBE Small Plastic Northwestern Globes I buy from this guy frequently. https://www.gumballstuff.com/new-northwestern-model-m-60-m60-or-a-a-plastic-globe-gumball-candy-nut-pvc/ Other than that I usually hit eBay or Craigslist. Sadly though, everything is expensive these days.
Mike4 Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 Yes, I think I ran across those. Your right.. unreal how expensive everything is getting. I need to pick up about 10 of them to replace on route. I might start pulling from machines in storage and swapping them. Hate to do that... just causes another problem.

I started cannibalizing unused equipment several years ago. Economically it makes the most sense for me because I am no longer expanding my business. Occasionally though, there maybe a part that I don't have or can't spare so I have to buy. I'll keep my eyes open for any globe deals and let you know if I see anything.
Mike4 Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 Thank you! I appreciate that. Any luck selling off used equipment or routes? I am contemplating. Getting to the age it’s getting hard for me to keep up with. I have a large biz in central Florida.

Unfortunately no one has the money these days to buy the business outright and bulk vending is going the way of the payphone anyway. I just sell off equipment piecemeal at flea markets as I lose locations due to normal attrition. It's easy to do and I don't have to deal directly with buyers. I should be able to run for the next few years using this business model or until I just tire of the game and decide to retire completely.
