joebob051977
I have no idea what a rocket wheel is, but a slip clutch will prevent crazy men who think if they twist the handle hard enough they will get free candy. The mech has a torque value and when it is exceeded it will spin so that the mech won't be broken. A fall through mech (drop through mech) means that if someone puts a nickel in your machine to try to trick it into giving away a quarter gumball for a nickel, you get to keep the nickel and the trickster looses his nickel. The mech will take all the money put into it, but will only vend when the quarter is put into it.
Jarola
Thank you, are these standard features or only found on the select units. both of them sound like great features. Jacob
Bravo Duck
A Rocket Wheel is what some companies call their gumball wheel, usually when they have a different capsule wheel. Good quality machines have fall through mechs standard. Oaks do not come standard with a slip clutch, they have a racheting handle that you can buy seperatly for $6-$8.You don't need one for every machine. If you're running a route with mostly Oaks just carry some extra mechs with the racheting handles in your vehicle, then when someone breaks a coin carrier by putting a pipe wrench on the handle, just replace the coin mechs at that location.
