joebob051977
Where are the locks and keys? Were the machines stolen? I understand not selling the locks and keys with other machines, but Vendstars? From what I understand, most Vendstar locks aren't exactly unique in the respect that other Vendstar keys will open them. Check out ebay. I saw some key and lock set for sale, but they were around $22.00 with shipping. I don't know of any alternatives, but I don't have any experience with them, except seeing them around town and reading about them.

I do not know if they are stolen, i do not ask those types of questions, maybe he lost the keys, and the locks fell off who knows.. he just said no locks/keys.. maybe the locks are on, do not know yet. I know the keys are numbered, I wonder if locks are numbered also, so if it does have locks, then maybe I can get the keys if i know the lock number, otherwise, I would have to order a set of 5 locks/keys for top/side... mxer518
Check out Wiczer, I do not think they have a website but if you give them a call they will be able to send you a catalog free. These guys are great and can help with anything lock-key related. I have given them all my business for the last few years and they are by far the best customer service out there. their phone number is: 1800-226-3010

You might have to call them though to find out if one of their locks will fit the VS you have since it doesn't specifically list Vendstar. Nice prices too, I actually need to get 2 locks for a couple machines I ordered off ebay. Thanks mxer518!
mxer518
No Problem, you will need to call them when you place an order since that is the only way they will process an order to make sure they are getting you exactly what you need. Tell them nick from northeast vending sent you.
dsimms
Does anyone know how many different lock sets that the VS uses? I know the key that i have #159 does not fit them. does anyone know if any type of vending lock in general will work on the vendstar? or is there only 1 lock in the world that will work on them...? Rustinm
1st off i have to say that vendstars locks are worthless, i have both 157's and 159's and i can use a 157 key in a 159 lock all it takes is a little pressure and they open right up. I would not suggest buying vendstar locks if you can help it. 2nd, vendstars company is retarted and wont sell parts to anyone that hasnt bought a machine from them, so getting locks from them is out, which sucks because they dont cost much. i think they are something like a few dollars per lock. good luck, Rustinm
