How do you label your machines?

I just bought my first machines and the guy I got them from had a hand written piece of paper scotch-taped on the machine with his name & number. What’s the cheapest but little more professional way to label your machine?

Hi Jarola

You could create a label on your pc, and laminate them and stick them to your machine using double sided sticky tape. Also if you get to 20 posts on this forum you get access to candy labels that you can print off. Most labels can be bought from ebay for next to nothing though so may be worth looking there.

You can get stickers made.  I haven't looked into it, and might be worth looking into since I'm guessing it isn't too expensive. I tape my business card to the back of my machines. The label I make for the charity I use has my contact information on it too.

A member here ( Craig ) has a company that makes excellent labels. They come in different sizes, are bright and durable, he even does custom work. His prices are reasonable ( he gives discounts to members ). I've ordered from him several times and as you can tell I'm happy with his work. Here is his website:  http://www.sniksnak.com/vend/label/

Depending on how long you intend to stay in the business, if its more that just a few years I would invest in some nice foil backed labels that will last a lifetime. they can be wiped right over with cleaners, never fade, and look really great. I use mine on all of my stuff from outside soda machines to bulk machines, and I have yet to ever replace one.

Thanks for the plug, Tom. I was wondering why I was getting so many hits from the forum.  :)

For those that are interested in labels, as Tom said I offer a discount to the members here. Please don't order from my public web site though. You won't receive the discount there. Here's the link to my post for more info.

Make your logo in photoshop or similar. Put it on memory stick and take to CVS/Walgreens/Walmart and print a photo of it right from their kiosk. It's how I make all my labels and business cards, a 3x5 ranged from 10-20cents depending on promotions that week. Can get 2 labels, or 4 (I think been awhile) business cards per 3x5. I recommend a paper cutter, not scissors (as in the paper slicer thingy that you can buy at walmart for <$5) Photo labels have great colors and resist water very well. Use double sided or scotch tape if placing in a machine. If you want to place ON a machine I recommend foil labels, or engraved plaques with glue.

I got my labels from Sweetstopvending.com (NO AFFILIATION) for my U-Turn machines, and they look AWESOME! The guy that owns the company is also a vending business owner and seems to really know his stuff and was helpful to me. He has all kinds of labels sized for just about every machine. I would check him out!!

Yeah, Frank (sweetstop) is a member here and used to run an ad. He's a good guy.

I thought this thread was about company info labels. Since we are now talking about product labels, I would have to suggest either the free labels we have in the PLUS section or Craig's labels mentioned in a post above.
