Mercury
I made these stands for my flat vends, and for some NW Classics I had sitting around. The only bad part is that I have to crawl under the sticker machines to get into the middle of the eight machines. I had to custom make them, as there is nothing on the market that would have worked. I was going to make it so that it hinged, but I didn't want it to be unstable and possibly fall over on a kid or something. I made the for the NW Classic machines, because it was a small space that was just being wasted, so I stuck them in there. Those machines are doing great even though they are hidden back behind everything else! What do you think? Anyone else weld their own stands? Mettle
Very cool! You are pretty talented to have made those stands, also you are fortunate to have access to welding equipment! I can't wait to see some more, I can only imagine your stands will get better and better. You might even have a market here to sell them and make some extra money! whaletail116
They look very professional. About 40 times better than the factory made stands!!
Faith Vending
Very nice Mettle!! I need a few stair step stands; 3 heads on top, three on bottom. Gumball factory has them but the shipping is a killer.
dperry
Stands like these cost me about $10 in materials. Takes a little work and time, but it's fairly cheap. Can't be much more work than cutting and welding steal pipe I imagine.
GumBall*BOY
Wow, dperry that wood stand look really nice. It almost makes me want one in my house.
Mercury
That IS a nice looking stand! I don't think it would hold up to the hellions that abuse my machines though! It seems that "KICK THE CRAP OUT OF IT" is all they know! Merc
joebob051977
Those are nice looking custom stands. I really like them. I think we have some really talented people here. I've never been very good at fabrication. I can repair just about anything, but woodworking is a whole different story. I don't know if my metal working skills will be much better, but I am learning to weld this semester and will probably find out. It would be nice to fabricate my own stands. It's costing me $40 a pop for only a NW Tempo with a double bracket. It adds up quick. I saw a custom stand on here a long time ago for a Kentucky Fried Chicken that looked incredible. I'm too lazy to search for it, but it was nice.
sbishop
Where are the machines located? Looks like a flee market.
