MountainMan
Hi all, I wanted to take a moment to remind you all of a potential for profit that is amazing with the bulk machine. I told you all about it last year, but there are many new faces here so I will mention it again. It may be too late this year, but consider for next year trying to place a bulk machine at your county fair. Offer the vendor the same commission or whatever as you do with your regular customers and get it placed. the more heads the better. I averaged around 30 dollars per event last year from the machine (one head) we had at our food booth. Lots of kids bought those gumballs. This year we have only used it once due to problems out of our control. The one time we used it this year was for our county fair and we had it there for 3 days. I placed a U-Turn 4 head machine with Good and Plenty, PMM, Gumballs and MI. I had to refill the gumballs. We made 85 dollars in three days with that little machine! yes, not a typo, 85 dollars and it is a small county fair. That was gross. Only cost was the candy since it was our food booth. dperry
Mount several machines on a small trailer and tow it to the local flea markets on the weekend. That would be interesting.

This has been in my mind for a while now. You could even play the "ice cream man song" and drive it around town and have all the little kids come up and put quarters in Mountain man, great advice! Thanks for posting this again.

GumBall*BOY
I was thinking about the same thing. Making a portable rack you could take to kids sports games, the skate park or other events. You never know...

You never know...if you do do that you should have a change machine in the mix too.
