BlueGum
Greetings all, After a few decades in the computer business, I am considering a return to bulk vending. I bought my first machine, a used Northwestern Model 49, in high school. Back then, a gumball sold for a penny at a good profit. In college, I added pinball and other games. This was shortly before video games arrived on the scene. I stayed involved with games and arcades after college, but eventually devoted my time to my computer career. I started a blog this year about my earlier experiences with vending and pinball: http://www.pinballclicks.com. This forum provides a wealth of information and shared experience that was unavailable back in the 1960s. Some things remain constant. It is very interesting to see that locating is still both challenging and critical. Northwestern still makes a quality machine. Mercury
Good luck with the pinball biz. It is VERY niche now, unfortunately. Merc
