This is a repost from a bulk thread that I helped get way off-topic(http://www.vendiscuss.com/forums/forum1/516.html).  Here's a proper home for it:

Okey doke, time for some cleanup.  About 5 days shy of one month. Plenty of experience to see through your pollution. Now, how about YOU, Kyle?  How long have you been in the business?  How old ARE you?  Are you actually in this business?

Some quotes from and about our esteemed colleague "Kyle":

Date: 6/29/2007

Steve from the BulkVending blog, introducing Kyle and his new blog guth-vending:

"Kyle has been doing Bulk Vending since age 13 and is very knowledgable on the subject. He is a Bulk Vendor Full Time."

Presumably Steve got his information from you, including the 'knowledgable' portion.

OK. So you're 19, and you got in bulk at 13.  That's 6 years in business.  Impressive!  You don't use Oaks(7/20/2007), and then you have 50 oaks(8/7/2007) a few weeks later.  You owned 56 machines on (7/27/07), but then you owned 150 machines just 6 days later (8/2/2007).  Of course it's tricky owning 150 machines comprised of 50 oaks (8/7/2007) and 150 GMW doubles (8/2/2007), but then again, you'd have the finesse for it, since you've been in business for 7 years (8/2/2007).  And what's nice is how rapidly you advance, having been in business for 8 years 2 days later (8/4/2007) and for 9 years just 4 days after that (8/8/2007).  Quite the savant! So 9 years, and you've been in bulk since age 13 (6/29/2007), so you're 21?  But wait, I thought you said you were 19(8/22/2007)?  One thing I know for certain, you're no dummy!  You don't fall for that bull** locator scam(7/23/2007), right?  You let us know just a few days ago that you placed all 90 of your machines yourself(11/4/2007)!

Kyle, I asked you before to do me a favor and stop picking on Seagas.  Now, instead, I'm asking you to do yourself a favor and stop picking on Seagas.

Thanks,

-Lucero

So, here's your chance to clean everything up, Kyle.

Thanks for the lead, AndersonVending.  I knew about the BVA yahoo group, but hadn't been a member previously, so didn't include them in my research.  Well, here's the final nail in the coffin for Kyle's credibility:

"My name is Kyle Guth and im new in the Bulk Vending business and im

getting discouraged because I cant get a machine placed. I need

Locating tips. Thanks and "Happy Vending".

So Kyle's been in vending for 5 months, give or take, since at the time of that posting, he still hadn't managed to locate a machine.

Hello Kyle!  I'm always glad to meet another vending newbie.  I do hope this lesson about honesty was embarassing enough for you to learn from.

P.S.  Anyone interested in throwing Kyle his 16th birthday party?  I'll supply the candy....

Oh come on.  Hasn't everybody been young as said silly stuff?

Give the kid a break.  Hope he learns from it.

He's doing SOMETHING positive, which a lot of younger people have no interest in doing.

If he continues, then nail him.  Spare the threaded rod, spoil the gumballs...I always say anyway...

Oh god yes.  I'll be happy to give him a break... if he comes clean and stops bullying people with his 9 years of experience :)  I really DO hope he did learn from this, and continues on.  Anyone getting involved in a business in a non-employee role at such a young age deserves to be commended!  However this WAS him continuing.  He's been called out before on more than 1 board, and he has kept up the lying... hopefully now with no retreat he'll straighten up and become an asset to the board.   Hopefully.

The two problems I have is:

1- I have seen threads, like the 1-800 machine thread where Kyle said the machines were junk and ugly or the seaga thread where he said they were crap, or the cassari thread about going to a single head when he said thats stupid. These are insulting at best and if its based on experience with the machines, having many units in the field then it has some relivence, even if it is insulting, I have been known to slam u turns but Ive also pulled 100 or so broken mechs and chute flaps from them and lost a boatload of product. If his info is based on having 6 machines out for 2 months, then I feel his opinion is not as valid.

2- I have seen him post about products like jelly belly gumballs. He talks about how well they sell etc. I run alot of gumballs that I buy at 14.50 850ct. I seriously considered having OL add a dozen cases of JB to my order and they cost 31.50 850ct, that info could have really cost me. If someone is moving 25cs a month great, but I want to know something is moving before I take their advice especially when it costs more than double.

Im rambling but the bottom line, Im on this board to find out whats working for other vendors. If someone is blowing out a certain 1" cap, I want to know, If a new gb is smoken I want to know that too, I just want that info to be acurate and based on actual turns.

Hmmmm, with all the deceit, and apparant lying, I could swear that VENDiscuss could market a "pay per view" roast......

It appears he jumped from the oven and into the frying pan though....To bad, creditability is one of the things that once its lost, it's hard to gain it back......

You live, you learn I guess.

This has took a turn...

Nice photo, that one sucks actually. I will have to get a better up for you guys. My hair is shorter now. It is nice to see what each other look like, is it not!

All I can say is that you believe what you want. Take my advice with a grain of salt, if you believe I lie. That is all I have to say.

Regards,

Kyle

That is up to you, if you choose not to, that is fine, but you will find out I am right in the long run! Just because I am younger, does not mean I don't know more than you do on the subject. Knowledge come with experience, not age my friend.

Kyle, while it's good to be confident, it's far more rewarding to be humble about it.

...and honestly, there's just way too many discrepancies listed above to really lend credence to your claims.

You'll be much better of in the long run to just take your medicine, learn and grow from it.

Well, everyone was/is a newbie sometime. It is nice to help.

Don't get me wrong, I have learned from this WHOLE experience. I have definitely took my medicine, and wish people would QUIT giving it to me. I have grown up a lot, and regret some things I have said before. I have moved on, changed my attitude, and wish other people would too.

Kyle, ok, you said that you  learned your lesson, "you took your medicine so to speak".  What I believe the guys on the forum want to hear, is " Hey guys, I stretched the truth on the size of my operation", " and Yes, I know about machines, but I don't have all of them, mainly, my opinion is based off of other vendors".

And lastly, I believe, that alot of guys on here would just like to here from you "I"m sorry for making myself look bigger than I really am, and for decieving others in this forum".

If you took your medicine, fine, but if you still show the symptoms, I have no use for you.  As of today, I haven't heard any of this from you......All I have heard is " Well if you think I lie, that's fine.....You'll never get respect that way.

Tell the forum what they want to hear ( what they already know) and stay truthfull.

We'll have to wait for him to get off the school bus and do his homework first....;)

Kyle, you still excited about your honor boxes?

I"m sorry for making myself look bigger than I really am, and for deceiving others in this forum. I'm tired of fighting you guys.

Yes I am VERY excited about my boxes! I am going out Thursday to place the 3 that I got! I am very excited!!!!

Kyle

Good to hear, Kyle.  So just how machines DO you have?  Are you going to change your 'years in business' to less than 1 now?  Where are you going to try and locate your honor boxes at?

Well, 100 counting yesterday. :D

I'm starting on the west side of town, and going east!  I'm going to any biz I would put a GB machine in. I have 1 placed already, I am dropping it off Thur.

Kyle

I am also apologizing here to Rob, and anyone on Kickstart. I would like someone to post my apology on Kickstart for me.

You seemed to have missed the first 2/3ds of my message.  I don't know if you've noticed, but the forum won't accept you lying and just ignoring things when it's pointed out.  So.   Are you going to change your  years in business from 7 years to the accurate 5 or 6 months?
