I just found another place that advertises on this forum. Any comments on candymachines.com or gumball.com? If you are looking for single head cnady machines, buy them from Sam's Club. They are $61.00 each and are Northwestern 60s. Shipping is very reasonable with them. NW is the best. Period. Good luck.
G-man422
Massman, You may have already read this around the forum, but many of our members look on craigslist and Ebay. Some times you can find some pretty good deals around your area. My first machines were red triples like XYZ Vending. I purchased them used off craigslist, but they originally came from this website: http://www.gumball-machine.com/All-Metal-Triple--Vending-Machine.html I hope you find some good machines. joebob051977
No! Don't do it! Candymachines.com, gumball.com, and gumballs.com are all overpriced on the name brand machines and their generic machines. Before you buy new triples please read this thread. There is lots more information concerning this topic http://vendiscuss.com/forum/index.php?topic=6842.0 Here's the basic idea. 2 heads are essentally the same as 3 when it comes to earnings (believe it or not). I didn't, but can now say I was wrong. I bought machines from a site like the ones you mentioned (Gumball Machine Warehouse). The machines are not a good value. If you are going to buy new, buy a name brand machine like Oak, Northwestern, or Beaver. I'm a big advocate of Oak, but everyone has a preferred brand for their own reasons. I like the cost and versatility of Oak. You can buy the Northwestern Stand and double bracket at Sam's. Basically, all stands are universal. Just to give you a basic idea of costs. I buy Oak 300's and when all is said and done (machines, S&H, stand, bracket) I have spent $137 for a double. Add $9.14 for a bag of candy and a portion of my box of gumballs and I'm in business with a machine I can upgrade to a rack if I need to.

lurtsman
I'm also in agreement. Ordering from Sam's club is okay. The other websites will take your money and laugh at you for over paying. Ebay and craigslist will provide machines for less than Sam's club. Northwestern is the king.
massmann
Hey guys thanks. I was wondering about price difference from those sites and quality of machines. I need machines that can handle industrial type areas. Interesting info about double revenue vs triples.
massmann
If I get something from ebay pr craiglist no warranty right? And I really meant was warehouse areas.
joebob051977
Oak, Beaver, and Nortwestern can handle pretty much what you throw at them. That is why they are the top 3. A&A Global is a good professional brand too. Prices are rounded to the nearest Nickel. Prices: Prices From Oak MFG Oak Vista 300 - $41 ea Oak Vista 450 - Somewhere in between Oak Cab - $50.50 S&H From CA to IL $8 for Vista 300 Northwestern Super 60 Sam's Club $61.00 Beaver Prices from Beaver Round Beaver $69.00 Soutnern Beaver $55.00 Prices From Gumball.com Southern Beaver $99.00 Round Beaver $129.00 Gumball.com Bulk Candy Gumball Machine 49.00 Pro Line Gumball Machine $59.00 Candymachines.com Single Vending Machine $54.50 Pro Single Vending Machine $59.50 Gumball Machine Warehouse Original Chrome $53.00 Supreme Vending Machine 59.00 Shipping starts at around $11.00/machine at GMW, as far as the other places I'm not going to look. Oak and Northwestern have all metal bodies and very reliable coin mechanisms. They are tamper resistent machines. Beaver is the premium brand and has the best of everything and options galore. For more information, please check out the equipment reviews. It is the very first Sub-Forum listed in Bulk Vending Discussions.

joebob051977
When I got started, this forum was still in its infancy, and I didn't have enough people to steer me away from sites like Gumball Machine Wareshouse, Candymachines.com, Gumballs.com, etc. It took me a couple of mistakes to figure out that if I am going to buy a new machine, it is best to go with one of the top name brands: Oak, Northwestern, Beaver, or A&A Global. It really is worth it. Plus, sticking with one brand, you can have only one key and not 20 different keys.
massmann
what about a spill tay for doubles? Possible or only on triples? I'm looking at Northwestern machines from sams club
joebob051977
Good question. I've never heard of spill trays for single head machines. It is an interesting idea since I know a lot of locations like the spill trays. Since they don't have them I would suggest 1/2 oz vend size, which is about the size of a small child's hand. Actually, it's just more economical for candy vending. You might be able to go a little less for candy like Plain M&M's, but not PMM.
BluePlate
Beaver makes spill trays for their single head machine. I have a few on some of my Beaver machines. Need more.

If there is an option out there for a machine, they'll have it.
