Dispensing condoms in a 1.1 capsule

I had this idea and was wondering if anyone has tried it. I thought about putting condoms in 1.1 inch capsule machines that vends at .50 and putting them in bars. Any thoughts?

I would think an actual condom machine would be more professional and cheaper in the long run (don't have to buy/fill capsules).

get an actual condom machine, I have a good amount of them and they work great and you can get every day of the week 75 cents per vend and in most cases now a 1.00$ vend. The machines are very cheap and should pay for themselves very quick, but be prepared for them the get beat up pretty bad if you are placing them in bars, these days I will only set up subsidized accounts with bars which basically pays for me to replace the machine every 6 months or so.

wow, i didn't realize how cheap the machines where. about 45.00 shipped. i only thought of the capsule idea because i had a couple of those machines I'm not doing anything with. i think I'm going to buy a couple and see what they can do.

Yes, somebody has thought of it.

I have seen a few ebay auctions where some guy was selling A&A small panel head machines set for 50c vends and was advertising them as condom machines.  He had gone the extra mile and painted some silver veins on a black machine to make it look more adult.  I think he was selling durex condoms in 1in caps.

I had considered doing something similar, adding a small rack in a bar or night club with maybe some 1in capped tattoos, or body jewelry, cheap clear and cool rings, or maybe even something like chewable tooth brushes.

I would certainly be willing to hear more about condom and maybe medical vending.  Hopefully those with that experience would post in this thread.  I'd like to know what machines are the best, what they cost, and where you can get them.  It would also be nice to know where youc an get a good supply of products.

Condom vending still does exist as long as the machines are kept in or near the restrooms. I don't think any owner would want a machine on a stand sitting out in the lobby or bar area for everyone to see. The bad thing is that they do take a beating.

I have several condom machines out on location as we speak.  Yes they do take a beating so you have to be very careful with what types of machiens you buy.  Most of those cheaper machines it is very easy for someone to break into.  A good hard jerk and they can remove the front covers from them.  A high quality condom machine will run you some where in the $75.00 per column range.  Plus what ever you decided to go with on locks. 

Barnett International is who I deal with out of Charolette NC http://www.barnettinternational.net/.  They have a wide selection in product. 

It will be very difficult to sell them in a 50 cent vend due to the price of product. Unless you don't have to pay a commission and good luck in a bar getting that one worked out.
