Mercury
Not sure if they have any insignia on the chute door. It looks like one to me, but could be a "knock off". Thanks. Merc

davidsurvz
It is the same thing as a 1800. It looks like one of the ones you can get from China now. They are the same machine, 1800 just branded them as their biz-op machine which they no longer promote. (They have moved on to full line-combo "refreshment centers.") It is basically the same machine If you wanted to you could import them from China and become the next big biz-op.

Jax Snacks
To change the subject a bit. This is the first time I have seen a 1-800 gumball wheel and I can now see the problems with vending acorn capsules. There is no way that type of wheel can reliably vend acorn caps and that would be a fatal flaw for me. Jax

Jax Snacks
A plastic agitator will ususally not cut it. You need metal springs to do the job. Jax
davidsurvz
The plastic agitators are the ones I have the most success with. The spring agitators are just too flexible. They also separated the caps (lids) from the bottoms. Looking at the pic you posted in the other thread there is a major difference with the wheel in the pic you posted and the other wheels. In the pic you posted there are three springs used to mix up the caps instead of one. They are also set at a 45 degree angle instead of a 90 degree angle. I tried to add a spring to the other side of the wheel I had but that didn't help either. (I posted a link to the type of GB wheels that I was referring to with the spring in the other thread.) post #22 David
