Disassembling for transports

I'll be going to purchase some triples on Friday. How hard is it to disassemble a vendstar to fit more of them in the car? Same question for the NW triple play.

I'll bring some tools with me, but if you know what I will need it would sure help to know. I'm driving a 92 crown victoria, and will attempt to fit 15 triples into the trunk and back seat. I might end up unable to purchase them all because of the difficulty of fitting them inside. Both my wife and I will be going, so we can not use the front seat for more storage. We do pack very efficiently, so disassembling for easier shapes would be ideal to maximize space. (Ideally the base stand, leg to the stand, and the top 3 head section, would each be stored separate.

the only part that can be agervating is the base and pole. I have about 8 that I cannot get the pole out of the base for storage. If you can gete them apart then you should not have a problem.

The canisters come off by removing the top and back panels they have locks no tools needed. I am not sure that you will even need to  do that.

I hope the other triples come apart that easily as well. We are estimating to attempt to buy 17 machines. (12 at the first place--could be 10 to 14, 5 at the second) Dsimms was growing faster than me, and I can't have that. After I get these home I will put out several orders for locations.

A '92 Crown Vic? They were still huge then, weren't they? The only tight spot I remember was the foot area for the rear "passengers", but that might have been from the cage behind the front seats!

I wouldn't think you'd have space issues even if they had started shrinking by then. My brother and I moved once using my '86 (Che)vette in 14 trips (plus 3 trips in a pickup for the big furniture) and we were pack rats back then.

Bring a few blankets to separate the layers of stacked heads in the rear seat and the poles and bases should all fit in the trunk.

Scott

Disclaimer: I've never moved bulk vending machines in any quantity over 1 as of yet.

Thanks Scott. Yes, they were a huge car. It has more storage than my wagon. We believe we can do 15 without a problem. If it gets to be 19, I'm not sure we can do them all. We will pick up the best deals first :P We will have my wife's purse, a couple umbrellas, and a bag of food with us. Opted not to bring a cooler because we were not sure we would have room for it coming back. We will have a ziplock bag of ice instead. This thing will be so packed :P

My growth goals for the year were aggressive, but these machines should let me get there. I should have most placed by the start of November. (I'll split the order up to a few locators so it comes through faster, I have singles and doubles in the garage going out also)

I'll try to update on how we do, we will probably just crash into bed when we get home though, and saturday starts my work week.
