coinvestor
I left this post vague just to see the responses. I always have people come up to me and act like they were going to do what I did (or we did on venddiscuss), but they decided not to on the way home from the ballroom meeting, or just didn't call the "do you make $800 a day" add in the paper. antoniocinisi
there has been an ad in my local paper for years with the make $800 a day promise,I wonder how many people they do scam if they can have so many ads in so many papers for so many years. mission vending
I just love when I'm at Sam's loading and people come up with the, "You must be in vending" line. Followed by the "I'll bet you make a lot money" or "I was thinking about getting a vending machine" line. Now instead of wasting my time with tire kickers I give this website address and tell them they can learn everything they want to know about vending there. ;D
snack dude
I love the how much do you make off this? Line. In which I usally reply "enough". Then there is can you make a living doing this? I usally tell them " yes you can, like anything else worth doing you have to get up everyday and work it." That will put an end to that conversation real fast. I call it scaring off my future competition.
mxer518
I get people every day on my daily routes asking how much money I make and then they tell me about how they were looking into starting a vending business, I usually then start to explain to them that it is impossible to make any decent money in it with only a few locations, I do not like to encourage to many people to compete with me... antoniocinisi
I was just asked that again today,by one of my location owners and by a costumer sitting near my machine.I told them both that haveing a few machines would be a waste of time. I made it clear that they needed many many machines to do good.I also told them that I still haven`t made back my initial investment after years at it.even if this is my own fault--they didn`t need to know this. Faith Vending
People don't understand the amount of work that goes into this. Not to mention money. If they did I doubt they would try it.
