g_r_vending
Well I am now a real vending business owner, just closed a deal this afternoon that will double my sales, and nearly triple the number of machines and locations. I just went from having 6 full line locations to 22 locations and a 23rd possibly going in next week. The seller turns outwas a person I graduated high school with, we came back in contact about 6 months ago an she decided to get out of the vending to persue other intrests. I also became a third party vendor with Pepsi as her Pepsi machines will be transferred into my name, this was a big deal in my area as I have tried and failed to get them before, they had no problem just transforming her account to my business. So we have 5 Pepsi machines, a bunch of small snack machines, some mecanial antares, and some full 5 wide snacks/soda machines. Was very nervous about the deal, but took my time and checked all the locations and the money each was generating, alot of locations can be improved upon, with better price points and bettor product choices. This was by no way cheap. 25k total, but she took 15k up front and will take payments for a year with no intrest. So my sales should reach close to 60k next year, as I will make roughly 1400 a week Gross from the full line side, not to mention all the bulk machines we have out. Very stressfull time but think I made the right decision. thanks for reading my vent Gary

Poplady1
Its good to see some vendors on this board getting into more full line vending, I just wish I was not the only one doing it full time, we need more full time vendors on the board. Getting full line vendors to share their knowledge is like getting a grizzly bear to set down for a cup of tea. Blue Moose
mxer518
its so very true.... Just as long as people are not stepping on each others toes on their service areas we should all be able to play nice and share knowledge.

g_r_vending
NP there was a guy selling a route in bing, around 3-4months ago, ads were on craigslist, not sure if he sold it or not.
mxer518
Most likely I purchased it, I have bought pretty much route that has come up for sale in the last few years. I get leads in the syracuse area from time to time and always just pass on them because I do not go that far north with Full Line vending at the current time. It will be good to know someone that would take them and service the accounts, if you ever need anything please let me know parts/machines and such, I have a warehouse full of stuff. g_r_vending
Now that I have pepsi, as I grow I will need snack machines, I will keep you in mind. Thanks
mxer518
A word of warning, be careful of Pepsi out of syracuse, I have been burned by them several times in the last few years. Some of my more northern stuff I have to use the bottling group out of syracuse.
g_r_vending
Its been about 5 months since I expanded my business, wanted to up date everyone on how things were going. After a month or so of work my partner was able to fix the price points and product choices for the new locations and that has really helped the bottom line, he did a great job, we got rid of a couple of the bad locations selling them off, but most are doing well, some very well, some just OK. But we now have a average gross sales of about $1200 a week, and were are still getting around $800 a month with our bulk, but most of our time and energy has been to develop the full line side of the business. I plan on expanding as soon as I can to get to a goal of $2000 a week gross by summer(if you don't grow u die) Am now a 3rd party vendor with Pepsi and placed my 2ND soda machine today, ordering about 20+ cases every two weeks. Need to get more soda machines placed as there is no out of pocket expense except the soda itself. But would like to get 4-5 more locations with both soda and snacks soon. So things have been working well so far, soon I will loose my job and will be a full time vendor. Gary
