When to load soadas

Hi new kid in vending. I have the 1800 vending refreshment center (I don't know if that matters). I was told that you should wait 24 hrs after placing in the location before loading the sodas. This is to give the fridge liquid a chance to settle from the move. Plz advise. Thanks

Did they say sit for 24 hours before plugging in or run for 24 hours before loading? If you need to run it for 24 hours before loading would mean that the compressor will have a hard time to pull down to temp with warm product but realistically this shouldn't matter. If they want you to let it sit for 24 hours before plugging in, is so that the oil in the refer system can settle back to the compressor. This is usually only an issue if the machine has been laid down and not transported properly.

These are disclaimers and will not hurt you to follow them. However, I don't know many people that follow these suggestion completely.

My disclaimer...This is only my opinion. If I knew the machines have been handled properly and kept upright, I wouldn't wait. But a manufacturer could void the warranty if you don't and something happens.

I don't wait to load unless the machines has been tipped over 45 degrees during installation, and then only an hour or so while I'm setting up and loading the snack machine. Have never had a problem with compressor failure, or freezing up, even loading hot soda in July and August.
