canaster life on candy

I've had candy last at least 5 months in a slow location before it started cracking. I tried a few pieces and it didn't taste stale but I wasn't going to risk the chance of another month. On the other hand I had product go stale in three months. It all depends on the envirnment of the location.

Watch the MMP they will go long before the others, anything thats peanut related.

As for the fill height I dont go more than 1/2 way and just check it after a couple weeks. too low and you will turn people off and too high and your tying  up money in inventory

I've wondered that myself. If you are just placing a machine how high should you fill it?

Fill it about halfway. You want to give the impression that the machine has been getting business; most people will assume the machine was filled completely and if the believe it's been vending then they're more likely to buy from it.
