dperry
This is a topic that I haven't seen on any board but it's something that's been bugging me lately. I'm finding that my method of storing and caring for my unused displays is needing an update. As many of you may know, most toy displays are bulky and prone to damage if you don't store them properly. As I swap around my product, I have to swap my displays as well. I'm finding that after awhile they start to get frayed around the edges and begin to look unusable. I have been keeping my displays in a cardboard box, and just grouped together. Imagine that each display is a card in a the old fashioned card catalog drawers in the library. The quality of the displays varies greatly from maker to maker. Most of A&A's displays are in formed plastic and they hold up pretty well. Those of you who have purchased the glitz and glam rings, minimalz, adopt a puppy, urbanzees, and monkeyn' arounds would know what I'm talking about. I like those kinds the best because they have flat faces that fit very well against the inside front of the globe. This also makes them easier to store. But many of them have a cardboard backing that gets pushed in fairly easily. Brand's displays are in enclosed formed plastic that are similar A&A's, but they don't have the flat front so they don't sit very well against the inside of the globe. Cardinal's displays on the other hand are pretty flimsy and the toys just hang loose from the display. The airfilled yo-yo balls and hand cuffs and jelly flingers displays are like that, but other displays like the squishy pencil toppers, and the large sticky mix displays are in just product stuck to a cardboard display and wrapped in shrink wrap. When it comes to storing the displays, Cardinal's are the worst. They are so flimsy and floppy and easily damaged that it's harder to store them with the other displays. So, I guess my question is, how do you store your displays so that you can keep them organized and still keep them in good shape?

T BIRD
I bought a shelving contraption with hanging trays. I use that for my 2 inch displays alphabetically ordered. I use the Sterlite plastic drawer shelving for the smaller displays. Enough of them to place them in there alphabetically.

I was keeping them in the storage box and take the whole box with me when I do my route. That way I would have them all with me so that I'd have what ever display I needed at the time that I needed it. I realize now that I don't need to take all the displays with me when I service. Especially the display of the products that I'm currently not using.
