Anyone have a machine in Wally World?  I know T-Bird had one a while back.  I just got into one last week and was wondering how long this blessing will last.  Haven't checked it for $$ and no phone calls to remove yet.  Crossing fingers XX.

Well, actually, it's in the tire center/oil change breakroom for the customers.  Seats @ 10-12 and has coffee/TV.  Didn't think it was going to be good, you know, people shopping while car is being serviced but, walked through the other day and there were 6 people waiting in there.  So, I guess time will tell.

Be careful in that area!  Machines have a tendency to disappear in the auto area.  Another vendor lost two machines there.  If a machine does not have the official Walmart certification sticker, it can be removed by management.  Probably a new manager that does not know any better.  That area is also breading ground for slammers!  Sometime slammers will take your machine to make room for theirs!  I would not put a nice or expensive machine in that area.  A $20 Vendstar will due!

Thanks for the heads up.  No other machines have ever been here before, so we'll see.  I put a new 1-800 in there.  Pretty good neighborhood, so hopefully.....XX

In one of our local WalMarts, they have had a U-Turn in the waiting room for years.  A Vendstar just showed up there selling some of the same stuff as the U-Turn, so I don't know what is up with that, if it was sneaked it in or not.

To tell the truth, WalMart management usually doesn't seem to aware of very much, so if they don't complain immediately, then they probably won't.  (Until some Corporate guy comes in that is.)

Mine was in auto center til management came through. They moved it to the break room. Some upset manager in the auto department told me they would be calling soon to take it out so I should just do it then, but if I couldn't she didn't care if I left it in the break room til they called. I thanked her very kindly for her time and left it where it was. It has been there for months without issue.

The walmart contract for vending operators states that the vendor as the rights to ALL common areas.  The vendor is paying good money for the space that he has and if he knows its in the tire center or anywhere else where customers can go you will loose it.  You may have some time though because coinstar sold all their bulk and im sure  it will take the new company some time to get adjusted.  Get your self a walmart vendor # if your business in complince with all the licenses and insurance its not that hard and there are alot of walmartds with out vending right now.

I was told today that Corporate is kosher with small operators like myself.  However, Bentonville gives the final authority to approve/deny -1ST to the district manager then to the local or store manager.  So, kickout is always a threat at any Walmart.  That being said, I'm gunna ride this one out to the very end.  If they do kick it out, I will hit them up for the breakroom, which could possibly do better than where it is now.
