proshine43
Hello, what do you guys think of the wooden stands with the 3 legs. I have 2 doubles with them that im weary of putting out, they just seem unstable and looks like they can fall over to easy. your input would be helpfull, thanks
BluePlate
I have one in my storage, I actually like the looks of them - but never had the right location. I always thought if I had a vending machine in my living room that I would use the wood stands.

lurtsman
IMO, they are better for break rooms and dry places I'd stay away from places where snow would be tracked in

proshine43
Yeah, thats where I got married, but it was in april, when the snow was gone (wifes idea), and we were both sick, our 9 month old son and my mother n law were also sick (flu). We go about every 1- 2 years.
deee_z
i had a wooden stand out, brought it home and burned it in the wood burning stove, was a good burning stand, kept me warm for an hour at least.
Jax Snacks
Wooden stands are too hard to refurbish after they have been chipped up and scratched up. Machines tend to get beat up out on location and when a machine is finally pulled out, it usually needs to be cleaned up and/or refurbished. You can sand and repaint a metal stand to look almost new again. It's harder to do that with a wooden stand. If you happen to have one, go ahead and use it. But just figure it will get beat up and then can only be reused in industrial places. Just don't buy any more! Jax

I do make them rather well tho, and give a good coat of polyurathane, especially on the bottoms where they are in contact with wet floors from mopping. The beauty of my rack stands is they only cost about $20 for materials and a few hours in the garage to make, and I usually make about 4 at a time. JPVendCo.
if you could throw a metal strip across the bottom, or those little rubber feet I think it would be okay in most places. it looks nice.
cavity
Get those round, plastic, nail in bottom thingies that use would use to protect wood floors from getting scraped up. Nail them in the 3 feet and you're all set.
davidsurvz
round, plastic, nail in bottom thingies Does it actually say that on the packaging? JK
cavity
Yes, right below the words "Floor Sliders". But, it's in Spanish so most of you probably missed it.
