jb5580
I've been bidding on some machines on eBay the last 2 days and keep getting out bidded in the final 10 seconds. This is quite frustrating, because all i want is some machines and I can't seem to land the deal. What am I missing on the trick of bidding?
tooldini
Some people use programs to bid or you can just put in a bid high enough that you will go to help guarantee it. Of course that still won't guarantee it but just make it a better chance. this is just one I found in a quick search http://www.bidnapper.com/
davidsurvz
I always wait until the last 10 or 20 seconds to bid at all. Everyone who has any ebay exp. seems to do this when I am bidding and I finally caught on and started bidding that way with auto incrementing, Maybe the link will work for you. I don't know but I have learned not to bid until the last 10 or 20 seconds.

I don't know but I have learned not to bid until the last 10 or 20 seconds. This is what I do also. I wait until the last 10 seconds and put in my highest amount that I will go. It's called sniping. dperry
It's reasons like this that I don't even bother with buying machines from ebay. Sellers on ebay all seem to be dreaming when it comes to pricing a machine, and for some reason, they all think that a vending machine is 'Vintage' when it's just 'well used'. There ain't no way I'm going to pay the prices they want AND SHIPPING for used, broken, scratched, misconfigured (wrong wheel type), incomplete (missing locks/keys) machines. I'll buy new machines so I can get them all keyed alike, with the proper wheels and proper vend amount.
jb5580
dperry, that was kind of what I was thinking. I've been bidding on some NW60's on there and the bidding got up to just like $10.00 under brand new from Sams, so I might as well get brand new right? Plus I'll still have to order stands for them from Sams anyway, so might as well order all new. Also, 1800's seem to be bidding up to $150.00 each. That's to much for used isn't it? I thought I could get some deals on ebay but I'm not sure.
cavity
Check CL every day. You will most likely find some better deals, and you can go look at the stuff before you buy.
jb5580
Yeah, your right cavity, I think that's the best route for me personally.
