sbishop
I was recruited by the largest apartment management company in El Paso. The new job included medical insurance for my family(did not have at the other apartments I managed) increased salary and bonus structre, and most importantly....I am in the proccess of replacing the current vendor at all 44 for their apartment complexes! That is right not only is the Job better, I am about to increase my bulk vending by 2/3s. Thanks to my connection with coke, I'll be able to do this. I could not afford to buy 44 soda machines. andyinchville
Wow....that's great....I need to land something like that!....With the bulk and soda wrapped up you may want to try for the snacks too in the laundry rooms / common areas...Sounds like mad money! mxer518
I do laundry machines in apartment complexes, they are a real cash cow for the most part. Keep an eye online I was able to pick up 2 pallets of them for only about 15$ per machine plus the shipping but overall you cant go wrong with them especially if they are the old ones that are built like a tank. sbishop
I have been looking at them tring to catch a deal. It is something that I would do 2 or 3 machines at a time. anyone thought of putting in the bill changers that only give back 95 cents or something like that. I have seen them at the beach. None of the stores wanted to give out change for the parking meters, so a guy installed a bunch and was making alot of money. I know that I have needed to do laundry and did not have any change on more than one occation.
Mikey B
That is one thing I will never understand. Two of my stops are at apartment complexes. I have asked the property managers more than once if I could place a change machine in their laundry room free of charge. (I pay no comission) Because I have gotten to the point to where either my wife or I have to stop at each one every 2-3 days to fill up the Drink changer due to the tenants putting dollars in the machines and then hitting the return button to get quarters to wash clothes. We have noticed that the longer the "use correct change" light is on, the less sales we do. It took us about 3 weeks to figure out why sales took a nose dive suddenly. It took a tenant asking us for quarters to figure it out. Drinks are 1.25 and 1.50 in the last three months the most change we have ever had in the coin box was $3.25 and that was going two weeks without emptying it. Avg gross income runs $75-130/machine I have also told the MGRs that I would buy their quarters from them (since they are coming from my soda machines) but so far they haven't responded back yet. Bank keeps asking us, "where are all the quarters" LOL
mxer518
Quick fix to that issue, set the machines up for force vend, that way when they stick their money in the machine they will be forced to get something out of it or loose their dollar. I have had to do this on several of my machines.
coinvestor
Mxer has the right answer. I had to do this to several machines. JD
mission vending
I've had to do that as well at a senior living complex. All the oldsters used it as a changer for their .25 bingo games. Sales really went up when I set it on force vend.
