microtargeting
Hi everyone! I'm Dave - and I'm very glad to meet everyone onboard - I hope to stay longterm and contribute as much as I may - Since I'm native german speaker, my english may have akward wording at times, but i'll keep my posts as concise and understandable as possible I started in vending 2 weeks ago after I finally made up my mind to start a fully scalable and profitable full-time Vending business in Berlin. I have to add that I have no background in vending at all. I'm a 25 year old vendin-newbie My vending concept is to sell hot instant noodles in ready-to-eat cups via vending machines that I place in universities, libraries etc. - A simple concept. My first challenge is to find a trustable supplier without having to travel to spain or japan Another challenge is actually finding more than 5 suppliers online... I've tried a lot of sourcing plattforms from Alibaba.com to ECPlaza and a couple of others.. From social bookmarking websites to actually calling the chief marketing officer of nissin germany didn't bring me to the point of having a ready-to-own machine on my list. Before I've found this Forum I didn't know anyone that actually works in Vending so it would be a pleasure If I could meet as many interesting people here as possible - If I canbe of any value or help - please feel free to let me know. If you where me - what would you do next to help make your dream a reality? Thanks and best regards from Dave
kai1836
Guten Tag Dave! Nice to see someone from Germany. I have only been in vending for a year so my experience is limited. However, I would suggest you follow the full-line section here on vendiscuss and do a few follow up things. You stated you want to sell hot ready to eat noodles......there are machines out there that can dispense hot soups I'm sure someone here will know of a few manufacturers for you to track down. That being said you should also consider selling other items, more variety will always bring you more sales. Again its great to have you here, look around there is a lot of information on this site. If you need anything please feel free to pm me as I haven't gotten a chance to practice my German in a few years. Nathaniel

kai1836
Steve, I didn't realize there were others here from Germany. Is there still a map function available on the site?
caserri
No, we lost that feature when we changed software. I'm working on an alternative though. For the record, we now have members from about 20 different countries.
