proshine43
Hello, I will be placing my first machines out this next week, my concerns are my stands leaving any marks on my customers floors. I mean like scratches or rust marks or anything like that Thanks again, Brian Rawson
T BIRD
Go to a Ace Hardware store and purchase that plastic runner they have in a large roll. Just cut off as many feet as you want and place a piece under the stand when placing.
davidsurvz
Butlers post on how to buy machines; "How to buy Vending Machines, Racks and / or Stand ... inexpensively." has some good tips on cast Iron stands. I am thinking of using some guerrilla glue or some really strong epoxy to fasten some of the rubber tabs that go on the bottom of the 1800 (flat style) stands to my cast iron stands. I have plenty of extra tabs and a few cast iron stands. (You just posted when I was typing this Johnny........ that is a good tip.)
Jax Snacks
I use Grippers on every stand since they are self adhesive, simple and easy. They are not perfect since many times a location will move a machine by dragging it rather than picking ip up. Sometimes the Grippers will fall off then, Get them at Lowes or Walmart. But the Home Depot does not sell them. $3 for pack of 16. I always carry extras just in case. Jax

I recommend using rustoleum spray paint on the bottoms also to get an additional coat. I'm repainting several machines and stands currently. Jax Snacks
I think 6 would be better. Jax
sweetstop
The rubber one always seem to come off. I use the heavy duty felt pads (peel & stick) like for under a table leg, they allow for a little sliding if someone tries to move the machine and keeps the metal off the floor they they dont rusty when floors get mopped Lows has a 20 pack for like $2.50 I use 4 per stand
