zanygames
Hey, I just got my locations back from Eddie B. (Eric). I have five auto repair shops. How have these been for everyone else? Transmission place, truck maintance place, Insert Name here Auto Repair, etc. Steve
JPVendCo.
my experience is widely varied in these type of businesses. I have a few that are steady, a few I have pulled because they sucked, and one that is a gravy lounge. give them a shot. my other experience is they get dirty real fast. lurtsman
They have been all over the map for me 2. In general they are worse performers than my other types of locations, but that is because of excessive competition.
zanygames
Thanks, I'll give them a try and fill the machines 1/2 way to start, or less if other machines are already there.
West Coast Vend LLC
I had about 15 Valvoline Oil Change places and they didn't do very well. The workers spent more time trying to break in to my machines and shaking them to steal quarters and get extra candy. I finally pulled out of all of them. It wasn't worth it. I also had problems with ants since they don't spray for insects like other accounts. Gary
sweetstop
I would say they are OK, Maybe average Make sure you find out what candy they want because most of your business will come from the employees not the customers!
davidsurvz
Mine have always done alright. I did have one dud and then there was the Meineke that stuck my machine in the bathroom.
Jax Snacks
Auto repair places are really hit or miss. And for me they have been more of a miss. The bigger chains like Goodyear, Firestone, Pep Boys can do well, but most are prohibited due to corporate policy. The 80% of mom and pop places (like Bob's Transmission) usually are a big dud. The machines get dirty and beat up real fast. And those auto repair guys like to pick locks. And some of them have no A/C - bad for candy! I no longer accept automotive locations unless they are a major chain with A/C. An automotive alternative - junk yards have done really well for me in the past.
