vendnoob
Has anyone here ever owned one of these? Do you have any problems or dislikes about it? Are they good machines and what would it be worth? I am looking into buying this for a new account.

Sparta_Automation
I have 1 1/2 of those machines....I'll explain the 1/2 portion in a minute. For a entry level glass front machine, they are pretty good. There a few drawbacks 1. They drop the drink from whatever level they are stocked from. This can cause sodas to be...well explosive if they aren't opened carefully 2. The drop sensor is a bit touchy and has a habit of beeping at odd times. Good news is that it can be bypassed by shorting 2 wires....a very easy fix If I had a chance to pick one up at a decent price....I wouldn't hesitate a bit. They are a pretty good machine. Dixie Narco's are well supported and parts are easy to get. Programming is VERY easy! Now...for my 1/2 machine. I bought a DN2145 off of ebay. It was listed as "location ready". I talked with the seller several times and agreed on a selling point. When I received it, it was missing parts, the main motherboard was wrapped in an old beach towel. Refridgerator deck didn't work and the kicker was that he had taken the inside and placed it into a DN5591 unit. So I have a DN2145 insides with a DN5591 shell and electronics. About $500 later, I have a fully functional machine that is working pretty well...and Ebay refunded my purchase price as the seller lied about everything.
