royalforest
Can someone give me what to charge for lunchable items like soup, tuna, chicken salad ect... If I double the cost, it seems like a high price for the customer to pay. Any suggestions? Thanks Rich
Sparta_Automation
This is what I sell my items for.... Item Sale Price (Purchase Price) Deli Creations Sandwiches $3.00 ($2.18) Microwave Soup Bowls/Cups $2.50 ($1.50) Oscar Meyers Lunchables $2.50 ($1.25) Starkist Tuna Meal $2.50 ($1.58) FreshFruit (Apples) $.75 ($.40) Yogurts $1.00 ($.48) I generally try to double my purchase price, but as you can see above, I don't always do that. I look at what I would be willing to pay for that item if I was hungry and set the pricing accordingly. I normally try to make at least $.75 profit. However I won't stock items that I have to set a sale price of over $3.00 as I figure I will have a hard time selling it. Hope that helps.
