Paying Commission's

I have seen some vendors that only do the charity and some that do commissions.

What Percentage do you pay the locations when you do commissions ?

I'm trying to get the average so that I don't overpay for any commissions that I might setup.

thanks

20 to 25% may be the norm in a dream land but if you want high gross locations that will last years and not months it will cost you 30 to 40%.  Thats the real world.  I have been doing this for almost 15 years and have  accounts like Long John Silvers, Pizza Pro, Taco Bell etc and i have only ever seen one at 20%

Depends on competition.  I have a few strong competitors in the area.  Most of my accounts run around 35%.  Remember volume can make up for this!  A very high volume location you can go higher, there is one mall in my area requires 50% of sales.

I'd do 50% of sales to get a mall location, but I'd also be selling toys at twice the normal pricing.

So should I expect my 3 week old restaurant location to want commision soon? He seemed really happy that some of the money was going to the local Humane Society. This restaurant just starting being open 24hrs and I am the only machine there with room for a rack :) I guess that may happen if another vendor wants in or something.
