amc-vending
I have gone to smart and final, Costco and Sam's club - nobody has any runts. Person at smart and final they have been discontinued, but he didn't know if it was chain wide or from the manufacturer.
Clifford84420
I havent found any in local stores in bulk, but the Dollar tree is selling them in 8oz or 9oz boxes.... for a $1. Comes up to about 15 lbs for 30 bucks, that not too bad.... right? Maybe they have them around you?

caserri
Some members have had success by simply asking their local Sams to stock this item. Have you tried that? here is another thread about this and some suggestions... http://vendiscuss.com/forum/index.php?topic=4976.
The Mage
Go to the front of Sam's club, and ask them to special order them for you. I assume they all have the same item number, but at the local one they are #853125 30 pounds. And cheaper then Rascals because there is no shipping charge. Mikey B
my wife is hooked on what I call the runts wanna be candy. "Crazy Bananas" http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=438007&pCatg=9332 but it would be nice if you could order a smaller amount to try just in case customers don't like it. vipergts
Somehow I read that as $15 for 30lbs? haha, time for sleep...
Clifford84420
Haha, honest mistake.... But if you were to vend at 1/2 oz servings, it would be 0.0625 cents per vend. Still not a bad markup if you just have to have them to keep customers happy. I would prefer to have the cost even less myself. But when you have none on hand and the machine is empty, you do what ya gotta do to keep the customers happy. The owner of one of my locations loves the runts.... So I need to keep him happy as I pay no commision at this location.
JPVendCo.
But if you were to vend at 1/2 oz servings, it would be 0.0625 cents per vend. considering PMM are running about .0873, that is decent. .0625 = 24% COG .0873 = 35% COG
Clifford84420
Only down side is you have a bunch of little empty boxes of runts to dispose of lol.
