tooldini
I found 2 nickels and 1 penny in my shootin hoops machine with beaver coin mechs. Is this was a drop thru coin mech does allow other coins or objects to fall thru and not jam the machine? Also do they get a gumball then or just loose there money? Hope they just loose cause how could you think it is a penny or nickel machine LOL
West Coast Vend LLC
Good mech's just let the coins and objects other than quarters drop through without jamming up your machine. The customers do not get anything. It's just a donation to your kids piggy bank. Gary
tooldini
Cool thanks thats kinda what I thought. I am excited about this location at a family restaurant that just last week started being open 24hr and I am the only machine there. Great possiblities for a rack or at least a toy machine. Got $24.75 in gumballs from shootin hoops in 20 days so not too bad
dperry
it's simple to test. Drop a nickle, dime and then a penny into your mech and see what happens. If it's like mine, you'll find that they just drop through without giving any product. Watch out for peso coins tho. They are slightly larger than quarters and they will actually get stuck in the mech. I know from experience.

Plus, we'd get the peso without diminishing the stock in our machine since the mech won't vend. Of course, just kidding about that... The drop-through coin mech is something that I listed right away as a 'must-have' on any machine I've considered buying.
tooldini
Yeah seems pretty good to me. I actually just ordered 2 new machines that both have that feature and locked coin boxes.
