caserri
At 10:01 EST this evening we broke the "Most Members Online" record of 35 that stood since 07/11/09. Our new record now stands at 36. Yet another indication of healthy forum growth. Thank You!

caserri
Good news.....................but i do miss Nam badly, what a great guy he was. Nam was a great guy. We've had many great members come and go from this site. Some get out of vending and have no reason to return while others simply vanish with no explanation. I'd love to have an exit poll to find out why they choose not to visit anymore. There are a handful of past members that I would love to have back. Look around at the group today. There are probably some very well liked members here now that will not be heard from in a years time and we will be missing them.
sherlock
Good news.....................but i do miss Nam badly, what a great guy he was. Funny thing about Nam...he was quick to welcome me to this forum when I first joined last summer. It seems he extended his welcome to many of us here as we each joined the forum. I never got to exchange posts with him before his departure. However, in researching info here, I have found how important to VENDiscuss Nam was (and still is). Nam's departure is one of the many reasons I wish I'd found this forum sooner. I'm glad this record was broken. I think a forum, like VENDiscuss, that promotes such useful information, sincere guidance, and genuine goodwill deserves all the success in the world. I was just speaking to my wife about this forum yesterday and mentioned to her that in my business ventures I have never come across a more helpful forum or more sharing group as I have here. I don't know that I would have started my vending biz without the knowledge that I'd have the many fine member's here to rely on for help and advice. Beer980
Yea it is the ones that just disappear that is strange like Nam and Pusherman. An exit area would be nice. Just say what went wrong or why you left.
caserri
Pusherman is a very good example of another past member/moderator that just disappeared. The strange thing about his disappearance was that it was during that hurricane that went through his area. He was never heard from again after that. caserri
Antonio, Can you give me any insight as to why he left? PM me if you want to keep it private. I'm just curious. If it was an issue with how the board is run, it could be affecting others as well and I'd like to have an opportunity to correct it.
antoniocinisi
we never discussed why he left.I will be calling him soon though to update him on my oscar machines and to talk.when I do I will send you a pm.
Beer980
Maybe we should look into a topic area for those that leave. Call it the Final Word or I'm Out. Like Steve said there may be a behind the scene issue causing members to come and go. As the site grows some things may go unnoticed for awhile. There may be some issues that seem small to most but really bother a few until they just leave.

I didn't realize until today when I sent a friend request to Beer that he is no longer vending and no longer visits TVF. In fact, this was the last post he made to the forum in 2009. It seems eerily foretelling when you read it knowing it was his last post.
