zanygames
Hi, I just placed a three head bulk candy in a Taco Bell / KFC combo. It looks like a great location and was manager approved. I have never seen a candy machine in one of these locations before. Do you think someone will be asking me to remove it soon? Thanks, Steve
West Coast Vend LLC
Hey Steve, I have seen vending racks in a few Taco Bells before. Some of them stay in for a long time other get the boot. A lot of times a store worker gets one in the store and takes care of it with the approval of the manager. I don't think a store manager can authorize placement but you may be lucky. It will be a great account for as long as you have it. Gary

havending
I see your in Ga you may wana check to see if its owned by tacala. if it is just go pick it up because they do NO vending. There did a test market a few years ago that i was involved in and after the year was up they decided not to continue. there were 3 vending companies in the test. Tacala is the worlds largest TB franchise.www.tacala.com. TB corp. follows the lead of tacala and has been pulling bulk out of stores

reel
Well we had a uturn in a KFC last friday we got booted out and the machine lid had been destroyed as well as the 4 canisters and there was no candy or money in the machine. We have machines in 3 more KFC outlets and a Burger King im thinking of going to take them out before thery are destroyed as well. I hope your experiences with KFC is far more profitable than mine. lurtsman
Does anyone else choose to boycott stores that disrespect our profession? I won't eat at TB. I try to avoid shopping at places that do not allow vending machines.

Just a small appreciation....mutual respect.

JPVendCo.
of course, eating somewhere outside of your route can be good too. I think I picked up a location cause my stomach wanted pizza. Just started talkin to the manager while I was in there and found out he was one of the owners. I used to work at an independent pizza place, so I appreciated the quality of what they were making. that place also belong in the "where did all the good pizza go" thread. its in salem, IN. main street pizza. zanygames
I eat at my locations as well. I did show up to place a machine at one location that was approved, but the manager that approved it was not in and the lady wanted me to wait for the owner before leaving it. So I eat there and waited for an hour only to have the owner walk up to my table and tell me no. Kind of sucked since I could have eaten at one of my other locations that day.
