Used Wizard Bubble Gum Machine, What to Pay?

Hi,

There is a guy selling four wizard gumball machines.  From the photo it looks like the red plastic spiral machines maybe the 5ft tall models.

He is asking $700 for four or $200 each.  What price would be good to offer for all four or just one?

Thanks,

Steve

I would offer him $125 each.  I would also make the condition they have to be in good condition.  For some reason, I have seen a lot of these in no so good condition.  The tend to fade.  Also if there are stickers on the globe, the globe is going to cost you $75-$100 for a new one.  I have one with a charity sticker on it, will never come off.

While he might get the $200 a pieve for them, I don't think they tend to be in huge demand, with the size you limit the places they can go.

I agree with plate.  I would offer him $500 for them all.  If he is desperate I would offer $400.  He has to sell them, you don't have to buy them.  Spirals seem to get a bad rap around here.  They do great for me in good locations.  My best performers are in Mexican Restaurants, Pizza Huts & malls.  They are just like any other machine in that they need traffic to do well.  I will still buy spirals if I can get a good price.  Having said that I have to say I love my Shootin Hoops.  They are tremendous earners!
