Paraflier
I thinned out my locations yesterday. I was servicing, and decided it was as good a time as any to pull the machines from the poor locations. And by poor I mean a triple head getting $5 in 2 months. At most. I had been trying new combinations of candies, even had the Fruitstand, Nerds, and Seedlings. No good. There just wasn't the traffic. (Things that I can see now, but being brand new, I just took the locations that were given to me.) So by the end of the route, I had 6 1800 triples in the truck. :'( Sigh. It's all part of the Master Plan to slowly move the route from 25 miles away (in the wrong direction) to closer to my place, and on the way to my 9-5. The good news is, most of the machines in the garage are making the same amount they were on location. And I KNOW they won't get beat up now. jb5580
That seems like it will be a smart move for sure.
lurtsman
It's a good decision. After my experience vending I decided start selling my machines this winter. Not all of them of course, just the ones without drop through mechs that are hard to service. (SSF/millenia) I can probably get enough out of them that a double head will almost cover my cost to buy an easy to service 1800 machine. I had to pull them out of bad locations. I had to pull one good location, but I replaced it with northwestern super 60s. I'm selling toys and did not like losing an entire month to an idiot and his nickel.
