droyce
Is there any size gumball that the standard vendstar 3000 can dispense without a special wheel? Thanks Dave
G-Vending
You can vend the 1'' just as it is make sure wheel is full open and try it.. Mine work fine..
bacho
I tried the 1" and had no success. I opened the wheel all the way and it would vend 2. Closed it to setting 2 and it would vend 3 out of 6 times. Also, it jammed quite often. When forcing the coin mech to turn, it would slice the gumball. I haven't tried it in my newer Vendstars. This was done with the first batch that is over 4 years old. If you can get it to work, I would only fill it half way because the gumballs will form a bridge and fail to vend without an agitator. JPVendCo.
I AM TELLING YOU THIS DOES NOT WORK!! maybe it worked for awhile while you tested it, but I can assure you if you do a full canister test you won't be happy with the results. you can modify it to make it work.... Quarter Master
I think if you look at different set ups, you'll see that the brush plate (the thing on top of the wheel) is different for candy wheels as opposed to gumball and capsule wheels. If you can get a brush plate for a gumball wheel or modify the one you have, you can probably use the candy wheel to dispense gumballs without slicing them off. A brush plate is designed to wipe off excess product when the slot in the wheel is full.
chrisdunn77
Unfortunately this does not work at all! I even tried 27mm bouncy balls and the same result as everyone. Some times 2 would come out some times it would jam. I wish there was a fix for this

JPVendCo.
I bought an assorted spring set and a bag of screws. I got them from a guy who does hardware at the local flea market.
