amc-vending
Is there a trick to putting the machine back together ? I pull everything out (front window, wheels, and base plate) gave machine a though cleaning – I got the parts back on base plate with no problems. Switch the middle middle to a gumball setup. I installed the base plate and screwed down the 5 nuts, but when I try to put the front window back on – it doesn’t fit – It seems like it needs to go down more. I tried the window 1st – but that didn’t work either. I know it goes back together I need to get it back together to take to a new location. Also - are the parts dishwasher safe ? I didnt wash them in the machine this time, did it the old fashion way (by hand) lol thanks
amc-vending
okay after getting some sleep - I figured out what I was doing wrong on putting it back together. But still would like to know if it is safe to wash the parts in the dishwasher.
Quarter Master
I'd be REAL CAREFULL putting all of the pieces in the dishwasher, especially any plastic parts. I tried this along time ago and guess what happens to the plastic globes or "windows" after they go through the drying cycle ? You end up with a warped piece of clear plastic to be used as a coaster. I'll never use a dishwasher again for anything but dishes. Hand cleaning machines will insure less damage.
amc-vending
thanks for the information - I had planned on not using the dryer setting, but I will go ahead and hand wash them in the sink. How often does everyone change out the machines and clean the internal parts. ? thanks
