USI summit 700 12 select any good?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Im looking at buying a summit 700 usi machine, 12 selections bottles (16, 20 or 24 oz.) and or cans. does any one have any experience with this unit??? good bad??? what would you pay for one?

Im fairly new at the vending industry but I have been in it for a little while, I just dont want to spend good money on bad equipment.

As well I can get a used bev max machine for about 1000.00 any issues with these machines???

One last thing- can a royal 448 take bottles? I was going to phone royal and ask but I  just didnt have time today.

Thankyou in advance

Nathan

I have had and currently have a few. The early versions have some issues with "bridging" with bottles where the column necks down, later versions don't seem to have that problem. Can and 20oz work well if you can get bridging issue under control. You will need to buy shims for 16.9 oz in order to get them to vend.

Is the $$ acceptor $1 and $5 capable? Does the Mech have a tube for the golden $?  What is the condition? Can you get a pic? Machine could be worth $700- $1,500.

Hello mission vending,

I found out the machine is a later version with the plastic slider on the side of the column. (antifriction). No bill acceptor but a refurbed coinco changer. I got pics and it does look good, and cared for. They want 1350.00 for it with freight so about 1100.00 for the machine itself. It is from a vending sales company and not a private listing. I have dealt with the fellow before and he is true to his word.

From looking at other machines this seems to be the best price for the best machine unless i go new. but at 3000.00 or more I cant justify that for this location right now. I dont know why but prices for machines here in canada are QUITE a bit more than south of the border, Well i do its our damn canadian government and there legalized extrosion (duty/brokerage)

Sooooo.....I think im gonna go for it!

Thanks for your help as well.

Nathan
