Poplady1
I saw this article in the Vending Connection. I have see this question pop up from time to time on the forum. This is an article that I agree with...hope it gives you some important information. Blue Moose Q - How do I sell my vending route? A. Start by making a list everything that will be included in the SALE of the entire vending route business. 1) Machines on Locations- starting with each individual Location. List each machine/per location, including machine type & serial number and any other specifics concerning each machine. 2) Product inventory, 3) Machines not on locations, 4) Tools, 5) excess parts, supplies, and consider any vehicles, 6) and if there are any employees that want to stay working for the company. Next - How to calculate the value and asking price- The national average for asking price is 70-100% of the Gross Annual Revenue...from there add in the extra assets for added value. Extra assets would be the product inventory, excess machines, parts, tools, vehicles, even route management software that you own and are willing part with and sell with the business. Consider the time you will be spending (if any) to train the new owner, your time has dollar value. Please POST your Vending Routes for Sale on the following webpage- Routes usually sell within 1-3 months, depending on price! www.vendingconnection.com/vendingroutesforsale.html
