kai1836
Aside from our friend in Costa Rica, have any of you ever thought of importing some of your own stuff?
lurtsman
I have, it will be a long time before I have that kind of power though. Probably a good 7 years or so.
kai1836
What do you sell the most of right now that you think you could import?
jamesjmcgough
Hola Kai, I don't wish the direct import situation on anyone. It is not pretty and it can be very, very expensive and stressful. In order for anyone to even consider such a proposition, one would have to fill the equivalent of a 40' semi-trailer worth of goods and have a very savvy import agent. Even then, you could be surprised with an import tax/freight handlingfor thousands more than you anticipated. My bunghole still hurts from our last shipment. Stick with the A&A's, Cardinals and Rhode Island Novelties, etc. Doing business with Taiwan, China and India is no walk in the park unless you hook up with a really experienced exporter from those countries. I have not heard of a vending operator in the US or Canada who has a volume large enuff to make it worth their while. Just my educated opinion. Been there, done that!!
