Sparta_Automation
So...as my luck continues It appears that my evaporator fan has died in my new RVV500 machine. I have one on order and hopefully will be replacing it pretty soon. The replacement looks relatively straight forward, remove the bottom shelf, remove cover, remove fan, repeat in reverse to install. Are there any pitfalls that I should be aware of? BTW, the unit stopped cooling for the most part. Bottom 2 rows were cold, top 3 was not. Compressor turned on, but fan not moving on the evaporator. Turned the fan manually by hand, and it does not free spin and it feels like it's catching. Thanks in advance for any suggestions/info Travis
mission vending
Sounds like you have it under control. For common parts like fan motors if you can get a manufacturer and model off of the unit you can go to: http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/start.shtml It will probably be cheaper there.
