slushie
Bought two used coke machines today, and trying to get them in service/learn them. one is a Vendo and one is a DN. Where would I find the model numbers in order to get replacement parts and manuals, etc.?
tedk
There is usually a metal plate on the hinge side of the door on the outside with that information. If you don't see it there look at the back of the machine. It is about 2" x 3"
The Mage
I tried looking up model numbers, but when you find their numbers they just hang up, call the cops on you, and then change their numbers. (Sorry, couldn't help myself.)
slushie
One has the Dixie-Narco made in America sticker on the back, but I couldn't find any data plates, maybe I should look in the daylight.
Technivend
If they are actual "COKE" machines then the data plates have probably been removed. Coke does not usually sell their equipment and a common practice is for people to remove these plates so noone can trace the serial number. You can try looking at the front of the refrigeration system. In the past it was common to put the serial number and model there as well for warranty purposes. sphincorp
i found some serial numbers on the liner door(either side), mostly on factory stickers on many dixie narco's ....hope it helps
slushie
That may be the case here. The Vendo has a serial number plate, but i don't know if that will help me.
ChuckWayne
Can you take pics of the machines? Usually it's esy to tell by a picture. If all else doesn't work, fill the machine to capacity with cans on one column and multiply that number by how many columns there are. Typically that total capacity is the model number. You may have two different size columns and you'll just have to do the two seperately and add it all up. For instance a Dixie Narco 368 holds 368 cans.
