coinvestor
I would gladly raise my prices by 18% and save them the time of collecting taxes;) http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100308/hl_nm/us_food_tax
Sparta_Automation
Wouldn't we all In Washington State...they are SERIOUSLY proposing to start taxing bottled water at .01 per ounce....That would add $4.06 per case...almost double the current cost. What a great idea Travis
snack dude
This is going to be just like the tobacco tax. People wont quit buying pizza and soda they will just do without something else. But what I really love is one day theres an article in the news about the obesity epidemic and the next day there is one about the epidemic of americans that go to bed hungry. so which is it? It cant be both. I quess it depends on where the scientist get their money from. youll give me how much money to say theres global warming! Oh no wait that was last year and I have a payment due on the vacation condo, Wait.... theres an obesity epidemic, yea thats it and I need 500K to study it. coinvestor
I don't understand the pizza thing. Why don't they just skip the pizza and tax the cheese and pepperoni since they are implying that they are the problem.
