qualityvs
Hi to all. I have been asked to work on an old Lance machine I believe its a USI 25 selection. It has a Coinco DN150-9802 changer (jones plug) in it that seems to be the problem. My question is what other changer could I install in this machine that would work? A single price would be fine being they only use 1 price any ways. I looked at this machine last night. I washed the coin acceptor (top part) real good and got it so so on accepting. I took a coin acceptor from a old changer I have and put it on this changer and she never rejected a coin after that. The problem now is that the changer wont give you change. Whether you press the pay out switch or deposit too much money and need change you get nothing. And this causes the changer to keep change without giving you credit from that point on, until you unplug it. I took it apart and found the motor that works the payout was locked up. I played and played with it until I got it to work but it sounds horible whenever it is paying out change. My question is can I take a motor out of another changer that I have and put it in this one? This changer is 24vac and the parts changer I have is 115vac. I havent had time to look at the motor in the parts chager I have, but am figuring they are probably the same. If anyone knows off the top of there head that would be nice.

If it is the F150 you are going to have to dig through the closets to find one as they haven't been made for a long time. Kits are (or were) available for a conversion but they can be costly for such an old machine. But it is critical to get the correct model number. An F150 is not the same as a M150 and so on. qualityvs
Me neither, it is the right number. I talked to coinco and they said that was the only changer I could use in that machine. Which I have it working good now, all but the noisy pay out motor that i dont know how long will last.
