new2this
Hello, Anyone own one of these machines? I purchased a used one and I have a question. http://www.gumballs.com/triplevend.html If so, how do you adjust the tumblers? If you have a manual can you post it on vendiscuss? Thanks. antoniocinisi
I dont have a machine like this but you probably unscrew the bottom of the canister off make adjustments and then put it back together.
kai1836
When you take the back off to access the money you will see 3 round knobs which are the back end of the tumblers. Twist them until they pull out. You'll notice a seem around the back pull off the back cap. The tumbler has a spring inside with an adjustable plastic "barrel" when you take the cap off pull the cylinder apart and you can adjust the setting. There is a notch on the side that will show how far you can adjust it. Good luck.

The Mage
The Ultravend still uses the tubes? I have some EasyVend which later become Ultravend. The tubes are simple enough though, but there is no spring in the ones I have. Here is the website for Ultravend. http://www.ultravend.com/ They sell their machines for $10 more then gumballs.com does, but they only charge $10 for shipping which is $19 cheaper, making it a net $9 cheaper. Interestingly it seems to be $10 regardless of the number of machines you order. Maybe there is something I am missing. And searching around their site, I found parts I can use for my machines. And yep they still use the tubes. If these are as durable as when they first built them, the machines I have are from the late 80's, and still going strong, other then missing the coin boxes. They are made of plastic, but seem more durable then something like a Vendstar.
amc-vending
can you change out 1 section and add different product - like the 1800's or VS3000's ? or is it like the xyz machines where you have to change out machines
The Mage
This is the tube, or tumbler. On each side is a cap that can be removed. To adjust the machines I only remove the right cap. The tube splits apart, and the inside part can be moved to make the vend larger or smaller. I found if you turn the machine over, you can pull out the tube with candy still in the machine, and adjust it on location. I put rags down so it didn't actually touch the floor when I was adjusting my machines. The machine does not have canisters, so if you want to change a product, you need to change the whole machine. amc-vending
thanks for the info mage - I am picking up 2 spirals and 12 xyz machines this morning from 1 guy and that is the last of his bulk machines and the guy I was getting my 1800's from has sold the rest of his so looks like I will start purchasing the ultravends unless I find good deals on some more 1800's and seaga style machines. I am wanting to have 100 machines on location by end of year

new2this
Hi, Thanks everyone. Although they are plastic, I think these are going to go great in a breakroom I have lined up for next week. N2this
sweetstop
For what its worth I had over 40 of these things and hated them, if you are going to go with a cheaper plastic machine than the vendstar is much more user friendly choice. The fact that you cant change anything out is time consuming especially when you are first starting out when a location may need something different until you get the right mix. I found them a little cumbersome. other than the metal stands they are not worth it unless you get an awesome deal as I did.
