coinvestor
Has anyone upgraded the lighting on there machines to LEDS? Every CB500 drink machine I have goes through bulbs and ballasts like crazy. I am tired of changing bulbs and ballast. Are the kits easy to install? Any tips or brand reccomendations? Thanks JD
mission vending
I've installed them on several snack machines. If you are handy with tools it's not hard to do. I've used the ones from Vendors Exchange.
coinvestor
Did you use exsisting power wires or run new ones?
mission vending
Cut off wires at ballast and spliced the LED wires in. Don't forget to turn off power, a 110V pop is really painful, still have the burn scars on my hand from an incident when I was 7 years old. s.weir
Over the life of the machine I am assuming this become quite cost efficient?
IVEND11
I have only used LED kits on 431 crane food machine and I love them. I use vendors exchange

For about the cost of a ballast and bulb you get a lifetime light that won't start flickering and cause the control board to freak out and do things like pay out like a broken slot machine. It also won't fall out when someone is abusing the machine and shatter inside the door
